Navigating Life's Waves: Anchored in Prayer

Hunger for beauty

Hunger for beauty

Sunrise Meditation Walks on the beach in Fort Myers Beach, FL satisfied my spiritual hunger for the sights sounds and the feel of beauty. I encountered beauty in every step on the beach. There were countless ministry moments. None were planned, they happened as if by chance. I miss the community formed among the people I met along the way, moments of delight, discovering God’s presence as if by chance.

Now, I am close to patches of the desert, I walk into those desert places and  in the washes alone. There is beauty here, often dramatic and awesome. I rarely meet people and when I do, the exchange is no more than a smile. Unlike on my beach walks dongs are behind walls and fences, they bark with ferocity often startling me. I miss petting dogs and exchanging greetings with their owners. I miss community, sharing joys and concerns. I miss heart-conversations. We are settled in our home. Unpacking, making room for the stuff of life is done. I hunger for communal meals, feasts for my soul.

Does your soul hunger, share your story at our first meeting July 22nd, Circle Community meetings are listed with Meetup, Circle Community Meetup in Tucson AZ.
